It is important to Love INC MoCo that Love INC volunteers are Christians who are plugged into a local church and have a desire to humbly serve others in the Name of Christ. We have many ways that you can help. Let us know how you would like to be “mobilized” and what resources, talents, and skills God has gifted you with that you desire to share with others. As brothers and sisters in Christ, working together to serve those around us, the message, hope, and love of Jesus is experienced as lives are impacted and transformed! One-Time Service Projects

Connection Center
“…‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Each day, a wide variety of people call the Love INC office with a need. These calls are answered by caring volunteers who listen to understand people’s situations and direct them to the most appropriate source of help. The Love INC Connection Center connects callers with a partner church, whose volunteers are able to serve those needs. In the process of meeting real needs, we find that people experience the love of Christ in practical ways. This can strengthen some in faith and for others, it creates a great relational gateway to come to know Jesus more fully.
Our Connection Center is run primarily by volunteers who are trained in taking calls, speaking with people about their need, and connecting people to a church community that can meet that need. If needs cannot be met through a local church, referrals are made to community resources. Do you have a loving, listening ear? Maybe God is prompting you to serve as a phone volunteer.
Connection Center Volunteer Requirements:
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Ease of conversation and comfortable talking on the phone
- A heart for ministry and prayer with those in need
Reception: Greeting and guiding our callers and visitors into the Love INC ministry.
Intake Volunteer: Connecting neighbors to resources such as food, clothing, furniture, diapers, transportation, and more. Making reference calls and offering ongoing check in support.
Resourcing: Maintaining and updating our database of resources. Either work remotely or in the office!
Budget Coaches and Mentors
Sometimes, you get off track and you need someone who cares to help get you back where you need to be, so that you can grow and succeed, and be all that God has created you to be! We need volunteers who would be willing to meet with neighbors, and coach them through goal setting and setting up a budget, offering a listening ear and godly financial guidance.
Transportation
Driver: Helping friends and neighbors get to important appointments.
Wheels of Love – Appointment Volunteers: serve by offering rides to people in the community to and from important appointments. These are arranged in advance, and the ride can be offered if/when there is an available volunteer to drive.
Compassion Projects
Compassion Projects support the local church and Christian community in acts of compassion during a missions trip to their own community.
ElderNET
Love INC’s ministry connecting those 70+ to churches across the county who can meet needs for transportation, non-medical respite care, simple home repairs, and more.
Marketing, Communications, & Promotions
Help with Love INC’s photo, video, written media, and I.T.
Share your gift for media through Love INC!
Opportunities include writing, story journalism, photography, videography, and more!
Story Tellers: We provide writing opportunities for blog posts, helpful articles, capturing stories, and more in written format. Either work remotely or in the office!
Photographer: Take photos of volunteers, classes, events, and more! Either use your own camera or your phone!
Videographer/Editor: Help capture stories on video and transform them into compelling video content for the ministry!
Navigation
Navigator: Supporting clients and families through a short-term transition or challenge that need guidance with learned life skills and/or professional experience.
Love INC Office
Admin Support: Assist staff with tasks, projects, and data entry.
Engagement Team: Connecting with area churches through events and service days.
Resource Development: Help grow Love INC through Donor Relations, events, Marketing & Communications, accounting support, and large mailings.
Volunteer Training/Redemptive Compassion - 2024 Classes
All Love INC volunteers are required to take the Volunteer Training/Redemptive Compassion class. This is a 4 week study on how to serve in meaningful and transformative ways! We also offer a 7-week Spanish language training. Read the upcoming class dates below and sign up for a class series using the links below!
